Once again on Valentine’s Day

Today marks 7 years since Matt proposed. We decided to retrace our footsteps, since we had the day off and the weather was so fine.

For lunch, we went to the Owls Head General Store for their 7 Napkin Burger. Seven years on, they offer a vegetarian option and slices of homemade pie. We opted for a slice of coconut cream.

We stretched our legs with a walk through Owls Head State Park. However many times you visit, the view over Penobscot Bay makes you pause and breathe out a little prayer of gratitude.

We went to Marshall Point Lighthouse with a plan to recreate our engagement photo, but found another couple on the walkway in their bridal attire. Wisdom nudged at us to let them have their golden hour glory. So we did, and we watched the sunset instead.

To join us down memory lane, visit Once, on Valentine’s Day.
